Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We encourage families to ask as many questions as possible during every step of the selection and move in process.

1. How does a residential facility differ from a large assisted living center?
Our residential model offers a much higher staff-to-resident ratio, which allows for deeper personal relationships and more attentive care. Because we are a smaller home, we can more easily adapt to a resident’s specific routine and preferences.

2. Can we visit our loved ones at any time?
Absolutely. We consider our residents’ families to be part of our own. While we encourage visiting during daytime hours to maintain the household’s evening rhythm, we have an open-door policy for family members.

3. How do you handle medical emergencies?
Our home is equipped with 24/7 monitoring. We maintain close partnerships with local Maryland healthcare providers and emergency services to ensure a rapid response should a medical need arise.

4. What is the process for moving in?
It begins with a personal consultation and a health assessment to ensure we can meet your loved one's specific needs. We then work with you on a transition plan to make move-in day as seamless and welcoming as possible.

5. Are your services all-inclusive?
We believe in transparency. Our monthly fee typically covers room, board, utilities, and core care services. Any specialized tier-of-care requirements are discussed upfront during the assessment so there are never any "hidden" costs.
